FunaRide Uganda is a transport solutions company dedicated to transforming the way people move. Through our innovative car-sharing app, we connect drivers, both private and public, with passengers traveling in the same direction, making transport more convenient, efficient, and accessible.
What We Do
FunaRide was created to solve everyday transport challenges in Uganda, including long queues at taxi stages, overcrowding during peak hours, and the unpredictability of public transport. Our platform allows passengers to plan their journeys in advance, book rides that match their schedule, and travel with greater ease and comfort.
Drivers simply post their planned trips, and the app matches them with nearby passengers heading in the same direction. For public transport operators, FunaRide provides a platform to publish travel schedules, enabling passengers to browse, book, and pay ahead of time, all within the app.
Why it Matters
FunaRide promotes smarter and safer mobility. By enabling pre-booking and cashless payments, we help reduce congestion, minimize physical contact, and improve the overall travel experience. Our services are available daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, ensuring you can plan your journeys conveniently throughout the day.
